I've been kind of putting off starting an apple cider vinegar regimen for awhile now, we bought 2 huge bottles of Braggs Apple Cider Vinegar several months ago and haven't touched it since, well today I decided to finally start! The recommended way to "enjoy" apple cider vinegar (or "ACV" for short) is to dilute 2 tbs of ACF in 8 oz of water with a little sweetness via either honey or stevia to cut the acidity. Well I stupidly thought diluting in water would be enough to not really taste it... wrong!! Even diluted it is like drinking straight up vinegar so I think I'm just going to do a straight shot of the stuff in the morning. For those of you who may not be familiar with all the wondrous effects of an ACV routine, some of the purported benefits are: weight loss, clear skin, better hair/skin/nails, ease the pain of arthritis, lower cholesterol and lower blood pressure just to name a few. Pretty lofty claims but since people have been drinking the stuff for centuries I think it must be working for at least a few people. I will keep you updated on any effects I notice and hopefully I find an easier way to down the stuff!
