Fall Fashion Faves
Fall is definitely my absolute most favorite season, the air is crisp, the leaves are changing and everything is pumpkin flavored, yummy!!! Fall is also my most favorite fashion season because its not so cold that you are hiding behind bulky winter coats, but it also isn't so hot that you are sweating thru all your cute outfits. I've been doing my fair share of shopping lately and wanted to show you my favorite pieces for fall!! If you can't notice, it is pretty military inspired.

NYC Roundup
I'm baaack! I had so much fun in NYC on Friday and Saturday! I'm really proud of myself for actually managing to get there (thank you Amtrak) and also for navigating my way around the city! I'm a bit directionally challenged so this is a huge accomplishment for me! I had all day Friday to entertain myself, and what is more entertaining then doing a ton of little shopping? I got some really cute things at Uniqlo, so cheap too, the cutest pair of jeans at Zara and I also picked up a few things at Topman, all in all I had a very successful day of shopping! I saw a few celebs walking around and was literally standing right next to Karlie Kloss at a bobo sunglasses stand, I was freaking out!! I wore these really cute sandals on Friday while walking around, that a sales associate at Bloomingdales practically stole off my feet, but they gave me the WORST blisters on the back of my heels, OUCH! I did manage to run today so hopefully they don't impact my ability to exercise... but I guess fashion is pain.
Friday night Lindsay and I got a late, late, dinner and drinks courtesy of one of Lindsay's friends. Who doesn't like free food and drinks?! The restaurant was so nice to bring me a plate of gnocchi in red sauce instead of the sea bass they were serving everybody else, so I got my grub and my drink on. Afterwards we all headed to Greenhouse, which was packed and Ne-Yo happened to be there as well, but we were kind of over it so then we headed to Amalia. In one of my not so finer moments I managed to leave my Blackberry in the backseat of the taxi that took us back to my friend Dan's house. Of course I was freaking out but thankfully a very nice young woman found it and ended up calling Lindsay's phone the next morning and met us to return it to me, THANK YOU!!!! Saturday we pretty much just relaxed at Dan's and then headed to Grand Central Station to say our goodbyes. All in all it was a super fun trip and I can't wait to go back! I wish I had taken more pics but I didn't want to look too touristy.

Sunday Roundup
Good Morning! So much for that crappy weekend they were telling us about on Friday! I was kind of hoping it wouldn't be nice outside today so I wouldn't feel as guilty for staying in all day to do clean my room and do laundry. Things are getting a bit ridiculous in terms of my room situation and quite frankly I wouldn't be surprised if A&E started filming me for a very special episode of Hoarders.
Speaking of out of control piles of clothing, yesterday I went shopping with Katrina at King of Prussia and we got some pretty good deals. I'm telling you the Urban Outfitters there has the best sale stuff! Although I'm not loving how they totally flipped the merchandise around, I hate it when stores do that. Anyway I got a new tank top (in my signature color Teal) and a pair of distressed grey rinse Levi's for just $19.99! They actually fit really nicely so I can't wait to wear them out! We also hit up H&M and I got two new tops (one for just $4.99!!) and one to possibly wear out on a date, if ever I go on one again in my life, ugh.
I had a nice big Sunday breakfast of my two pieces of Ezekial toast, oatmeal, pb and a special treat of a Chocolate Chip clif bar (10 for $10 @ Super G, I couldn't resist!) so I am stuffed! I wish I was feeling a little bit better so I could go running today, in fact I might hit up the gym this afternoon, it has been nearly 10 days since I last worked out and I'm scared I'm going to forget how!!

Retail Round Up
Summer is rapidly approaching (in spite of the craptastic weather as of late) so I have been getting my act together and getting just a few new pieces of clothing for the warmer months. I have been wanting a cute bathing suit for awhile now and luckily Gilt had a swimsuit sale just a few days ago and I was able to pick up not one but two cute suits for really cheap!! These two are both by Park & Ronan and are NOT elastic waistband (no thank you muffin top!) so hopefully they fit! I didn't realize they suggest sizing down one size before I placed my order so let us all pray to
I also picked up this really cute and fun tank top by BDG from Urban Outfitters! Thankfully it fits, however I feel a little chesty in this so we'll see how often I wear it.
And of course a Summer look would not be complete without a golden tan to go along with it, I already mentioned what I use on my body but I found this stuff for the face called Xen Tan Luxe which gives an instant bronze and also a much deeper bronze after a few hours of wear. I put some on last night before I went to bed and it totally works! I missed a spot under my chin (which I didn't even notice until halfway thru the day, ugh) but I can't wait to keep using this and developing a nice tan face!
